When Fred Klatsky, a long-time NJ Sports Facility, Owner, Expert, and Attorney needed a reputable, responsive, General Contractor, Fenton Construction delivered.
Fred Klatsky is a long-time NJ Sports facility owner, operator, and expert in the youth sports world of NJ. He is also a successful attorney and owns a law firm in Red Bank, NJ. Together with his two sons and partners, they own and operate major sports facilities in Central Jersey: Jersey 34 Tennis Club in Matawan, NJ; and Central Jersey Basketball in Marlboro, NJ. After decades of success particularly in the youth basketball and tennis industries of central Jersey, Fred had identified a large property in Monroe, NJ for what will be his most successful facility thus far, the Monroe 33 Tennis, Basketball, and Sports Center.
Despite being in the height of The Great Recession, Fred began the planning and design of the construction of this facility in 2008. Together, he and his design team started collaborating with Fenton Construction, a general contractor with a long history of delivering successful sports facilities. By May of 2009, the project was underway. Fenton was able to fast-track the project, delivering the elite sports facility on time and within budget from foundations to closeout in a matter of only six months; completing the project in December 2009, ready for the 2010 basketball season. The new 78,000 sf sports facility features an indoor soccer field, two basketball courts, eight tennis courts, and offices. The building’s shell consists of two pre-engineered Butler Buildings that are joined with a connecting link, and together feature an MR-24 roof and Shadowall panels.
Since completion, the facility has become a massive success, becoming an absolute staple of youth sports in the Tri-State Area and the most successful youth basketball and tennis facility in central Jersey. Building on this success, Fenton is proud to have delivered various other sports projects for Fred and looks forward to continue success in the future. We have state-of-the-art technology throughout the complex, including high-tech video cameras on every tennis and basketball court, special advanced lighting system, ultra-modern air-conditioning and heating, and so much more.”
To date, the Monroe Sports Center has experienced tremendous success, becoming NJ’s most successful sports facility in the tri-state area and solidifying its title as NJ’s Elite Sports Facility. According to the Shore News Network, “The operators of MSC & CJB have been serving the New Jersey basketball community for the past two decades, including creating the Mid Monmouth & Mid Jersey Basketball Leagues, which now has over 1000 teams annually in several different counties, as well as the Central Jersey Hawks, MSC Hawks, NJ Falcons and several other local basketball programs.”
Klatsky had this to say about his sports success: “We are very proud of the fact that we have been able to provide thousands of youth and adult basketball players of all ages and levels the opportunity to play the game that we love with and against other players at the same skill level at the locations and times that fits all of our busy schedules.” To read the full article, click HERE.
